Wendy Shelton Sire CFP®, CIMC®, CIMA®

Wendy grew up in Montana, and currently lives in Great Falls, MT. She attended college at Montana State University where she gained her MS Degree, and she later completed her MBA Degree through the University of Montana. Wendy has completed six FINRA securities license exams including the SIE, Series 7, Series 8, Series, 31, Series 63 and Series 65 to strengthen her financial knowledge and expertise. Additionally, Wendy has earned Certified Financial Planner® certification, Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC®), and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designations. She has 36 years of experience in the financial industry, assisting clients in working toward achieving their financial goals.

Wendy’s aim in assisting her clients is to employ a wealth management approach that integrates client’s objectives into a customized plan, structured to fit their life changes. She has worked with families, businesses and foundations to strive to build wealth for them and to aid in transferring that wealth in a tax efficient manner. Before establishing Whispering Ridge Wealth Management, LLC, Wendy worked in the financial industry with Piper Jaffray, Inc., Dain Rauscher, Inc. and RBC Capital Markets Corporation.

Wendy has two daughters who were both honors graduates from Washington State. Wendy’s favorite past times besides being with family are wine tasting, white water rafting, playing golf, and animal welfare. Wendy has enjoyed contributing some of her time to community service by serving eight years as the Vice Chairman of the Investment Committee for Montana State University Foundation. She has also served on various National Committees for Kappa Delta Sorority and the National Panhellenic Conference. Additionally, she has recently served on the Board for the United Way of Cascade County, and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Great Falls Animal Foundation.
